Jonah X Projects is a not-for-profit dedicated to the exploration, restoration, and promotion of heritage, art and culture. We seek to highlight and celebrate those facets of our shared stories that unite us. Jonah X Projects is a global enterprise.

We believe that art and cultural heritage can heal at individual, community and national levels. International, too. We also believe that the exploration of ancient ideas and stories is crucial to how we see the world today.

Our heritage projects navigate local sensitivities, secure necessary permits, and maximise every penny spent to up-skill local archaeologists, conservationists, museum workers and artists, to aid local tourism through the act of reclaiming potentially lost cultural heritage, and the public promotion of our findings. We believe art can shift these places from the headlines to the travel sections by leaving sustainable legacies that endure beyond our project’s lifecycle.

We work alongside leading museums and with academic communities to transfer knowledge and learning from country to country. To educate societies about the importance of art and culture, for all our sakes and to advance our understanding of the past.

Jonah X Projects connects philanthropists who share our passion for ideas, art and heritage with opportunities to enable change. Our donors are involved in every step of the process: from consulting with us to craft a bespoke philanthropic legacy that speaks to their character, through to joining us on guided tours to our sites in stunning and remote locations. This regenerative travel aspect of Jonah X Projects allows our donors to experience the change they are enabling amongst communities, artists collectives and within academic and research disciplines.

  • Jonah X Blue

A project to recreate the ultramarine paint that brightened the Rennaisance and create jobs in a remote province of Afghanistan.

  • Jonah X Space

Collecting wisdom and practices across the faiths from women and men living in small, isolated religious communities.
